Meet Mindy & Joe

We live on a dairy farm and were in need of some help with our cows so we were looking for a herding dog. We had heard that BC's were good at this and after some searching we bought a puppy from a breeder. That was eight years ago. We have since found out that BC's never tire.

Our BC Jazper likes his job chasing cows on my husband Joe's command and it seems to wear him down on most days. We also enjoy throwing a frisbe, golf ball (his personal favorite) or any thing else he brings us. He also likes for us to blow bubbles for him to chase.

Our family became interested in rescue when we saw a flyer posted at our local vet's office and realized that not everyone felt as we did about our energetic four legged family member.
